About this service:

Breathtaking and dramatic views are to be found in central Madeira, many at altitude. Places we can include as part of a central tour: Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint above Funchal. See the whole city facing the sea, backed by mountains. Eira do Serrado, a short walk up some steps takes you to the views above Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley), you'll be perfectly safe but don't look straight down if you have vertigo! Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley), a village deep in a valley surrounded by mountains. Try the chestnut liqueur here. Pico do Arieiro, the highest point of the island, but luckily we get there by car! Ribeiro Frio, has a trout farm and it's also the location for the short (1 hr) but beautiful levada walk of Balcões. Cristo Rei, the King Christ Statue at Garajau, the last stop before we head back to Funchal. A chance to spend time at some of the central points of the island. Forget having to find a parking space at these popular places, enjoy the freedom of being able to look at the views without having to concentrate on driving. There are many good restaurants for lunch, but I can highly recommend Faísca at Ribeiro Frio for many traditional dishes of Madeira.
