Levada Walk (accompanied)

About this service:

I can either accompany you for the whole walk, which means walking a certain distance, turning round and walking back to the car, or I can drop you at one end, drive to the other end and I can walk towards you so we meet in the middle. Due to the flexible nature of this service, it's not currently possible to book online. It could be a different duration (shorter or longer) and also has to take into account what the weather is doing that day. There are easy walks with relatively flat and wide pathways and of course some more dramatic ones if you're an experienced walker. Even if you're experienced, you might wish to have the services of a guide so that various points of interest can be explained, especially some of the plants native to Madeira. If you'd like a short walk only, it's usually best to incorporate this into a regular half day or full day tour, simply advise me that's what you'd like to do when you book and remember to bring some trainers or suitable flat shoes with you!
